This year, I crossed off my Valentine’s Day gifts early because Mazzy is newly obsessed with Build-a-Bear. There is a pink frog she HAD TO HAVE, complete with a “Toadally Cute” red t-shirt. We’d never been to Build-a-Bear before, so it was fun to see my big kids get excited about something so innocent. Anyone else have older kids with stuffed animal obsessions?
I was never that big on Valentine’s Day when I was younger (too many years of being single), but I love getting Valentine’s Day gifts for my kids. I think it’s because, unlike the more major holidays, there are no expectations. I usually put together something small and fun and the kids are just thrilled to receive a gift.
Last year’s Valentine’s Day gift guide was a huge hit, so I decided to build on it, as opposed to starting from scratch. I added a new category and give the old ones a refresh. I also included a bunch of ideas that were very successful holiday gifts this year. Like the Pop It Game, the Cotton Candy Maker, and our new favorite for family game night, Do You Really Know Your Family? But you’ll also recognize some of our longtime favorites from over the years like The Comfy, the Mini Doughnut Maker, and the Custom Pet Pillow.

If you are looking for some fun Valentine’s Day decor to wow your kids in the morning, I recommend these adorable heart shaped paper lanterns.
