From the makers of “The Moon” jigsaw puzzle comes a similarly circular 1,000-piece jigsaw of the Earth that, again, is taken from an official NASA image — see also on Flickr — and depicts our home planet (specifically, a portion of the Western Hemisphere) in stunning clarity.
They estimate the difficulty of this puzzle to be 3.5 out of 5, so while it’s not overly hard to solve, it’ll still take you a good bit to finish. There’s a nice amount of diversity within the puzzle too, from the deserts and grasslands of the US to the jungles of Panama to the varying cloud patterns over the Pacific Ocean — all of which add up to keep things interesting as you go.
As I write this on May 31st, 2020, the company is currently waiting on more stock to arrive and expect to start shipping these puzzles again on the week of June 29th. You can go ahead and put in your $25 pre-order to get one as soon as possible.
10% of the proceeds they make will be donated to wildlife and habitat conservation
