Love is in the air at Southern California’s casinos.
If you want to set the mood this Valentine’s weekend or commemorate the actual day on Tuesday, Feb. 14, the casinos are offering live entertainment, dining specials and spa treatments.
Yaamava’ Resort & Casino is also offering a Galantine’s Day special if a celebration with your closest friends sounds a bit more appealing.

In addition to dining specials at The Bistro, Fresh Grill Buffet and POM, the Indio-area casino will host singer-songwriter Hunter Hayes at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. Hayes has several love songs, such as “This Girl,” “Secret Love” and “Wanted.” Tickets are $39-$59.
The Bistro: Enjoy specialty dishes such as a heart-shaped spicy tuna roll topped with a soy honey glaze and mango salsa ($20), twin petite filet mignon Oscar-style and a 7-ounce Maine lobster tail with aged cheddar potato soufflé and asparagus ($75). Dessert options include chocolate mocha cake with raspberry coulis ($12). Available from 5-10 p.m.
Fresh Grill Buffet: The all-you-can-eat buffet will have options such as Alaskan snow crab legs, oysters on the half shell, New Zealand mussels and smoked salmon, prime roast rib and maple roasted turkey breast, Boursin-crusted baked fillet of salmon, chicken Cordon Bleu, New York steak, herb-roasted leg of lamb, among other dishes. Available 11 a.m.-9 p.m. $44.99 for adults; $34.99 for kids; children three and younger are free.
POM: A three-course meal with a starter of hot shrimp with butter spices, a garden salad, and King’s Hawaiian rolls; entrée is steamed Alaskan crab legs with Old Bay spice and butter, crab cakes, butterfly shrimp, spicy shoestring fries, and Lowcountry coleslaw with Creole-style rice pilaf. Dessert is a chocolate mousse cake with fresh whipped cream and raspberry sauce. Available 5-11 p.m. for $49 per person.

The valley center property will host rock duo Air Supply at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10 and offer a Valentine’s Day add-on for its rooms. Tickets start at $39.50. The “Funner’s For Lovers” room package includes a preset room with heart-shaped balloons, felt rose petals, Hershey’s chocolate and a towel origami arrangement. A late checkout of 1 p.m. is also part of the deal.

R&B and soul music group Tony! Toni! Toné! will perform at Morongo at 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11.Tickets start at $150. The casino will also be offering a elegant dining and spa specials to pamper you and your significant other.
Cielo: A three-course course meal for two with a starter of buffalo mozzarella, lemon rocket arugula, dehydrated strawberry and pesto; entrée includes a 42-ounce prime Tomahawk steak, served with jumbo black tiger prawns, ricotta cheese gnocchi, honey glazed carrots. For dessert, a chocolate truffle cake with raspberry coulis and chocolate almond crumble. Available 4-11 p.m. for $298.

Pit Stop Diner: Located next door at Casino Morongo, the restaurant will offer a cut of filet mignon served with skewered garlic herb shrimp, baby squash, mashed potato, and bourbon demi-glace. Available 11 a.m.-10 p.m. for $35.99.
Pink Coffee: Strawberry cheesecake. Served all day for $7.
Sage Spa & Salon: Guests will be able to enjoy the “Color me Cupid” special, which includes a free haircut with any color service, the Better Together treatment, which includes a couples Swedish massage with your choice of aroma therapy and a warm stone enhancement followed by a glass of champagne for $265.

The casino will host Venezuelan singer Jose Luis Rodriguez, aka “El Puma,” known for his romantic ballads, at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. Tickets are $35-$90. The casino is also offering a Valentine’s Day dinner at Taproom 29. The surf and turf main course includes a 6-ounce filet and lobster tail mashed potato, baby carrots, and asparagus, chocolate lava cake with chocolate-covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne. $86 for two with a player’s card.

Serrano Spa: The special add-ons for Galantine’s Day include a heart-shaped hot salt stone enhancement when you book any 50-minute massage treatment for two or more people, a collagen eye mask or rose quartz facial roller enhancement when you book any 50-minute facial for two or more people and a complimentary styling or conditioning mask enhancement when you book appointments for two or more people. All appointments should mention Galantine’s Day and must be booked on Monday, Feb. 13, Wednesday, Feb. 15 or Thursday, Feb. 16, for the discount.
The Pines Modern Steakhouse: The restaurant will serve specialty cocktails including the Cupid’s shuffle made with Caña Brava rum, Galliano, strawberry orgeat syrup, lemon and rose water ($18) and chocolate hazelnut pot de crème made with red wine poached pear, vanilla Chantilly cream and hazelnut tuile ($14). Hong Bao Kitchen: Enjoy different courses such as the fried crispy Calamari with sweet chili sauce ($15); an entree choice of crispy whole striped bass fish Szechuan style ($70) or Jumbo Shrimp Thai Pineapple Fried Rice ($40); and a choice of Valentine’s dessert heart ($12) or red velvet and raspberry white chocolate mousse ($12). Dinner includes shrimp ceviche, an entrée choice of filet of beef with Alaskan king crab legs or ballerina and foraged mushroom pasta and a dessert choice of tiramisu or crème Brule. Strawberries and a choice of champagne or wine. $120 per person.
