Splurge on a memorable dinner experience this New Year’s Eve. Restaurants throughout metro Detroit are hosting luxurious dinners to ring in the new year.

The Rugby Grille — Townsend Hotel in Birmingham

Roll into the new year with a five-star dining experience at The Rugby Grille — one of the only Forbes-recommended restaurants in Michigan. The restaurant will be offering its regular dinner menu along with NYE specials from 5-10 p.m. For reservations and more information, visit The Rugby Grille.

  • Big Eye Tuna Crudo with blood orange, serrano peppers, orange soy vinaigrette and scallions for $32.
  • Curry Lobster Bisque with tagliolini, dried corn cracker, mascarpone and tarragon for $18.
  • Wagyu New York Strip with wild mushroom tar, green peppercorn demi cream, grilled asparagus and grilled cippolini for $138.

New Year’s Eve Dinner — Madam at Daxton Hotel in Birmingham

Another NYE dinner experience is available at Madam in Daxton Hotel between 5-10:30 p.m. Dinner features heirloom chicories, herb and black pepper pappardelle with cacio e pepe butter, melted leeks and local mushrooms, your choice of skate wing with miso, preserved lemon brown butter vinaigrette, herb crust, and heirloom carrot puree, or beef wellington with mushroom duxelles, puff pastry, caramel potatoes and red wine demi-lace. Cafe Cortina NYE Annual Dinner — Farmington Hills

Toria NYE Dinner — Northville

Toria’s NYE Menu includes a five-course dinner and a champagne toast between 5:30-8:30 p.m. For $110 per person, guests can enjoy grilled king prawns as the first course, mushroom consommé with shiitake and porcini ravioli and winter asparagus as the second course, bone marrow risotto as the third course, their choice of New Zealand lamb or millefeuille of winter vegetables as the fourth course and grand cru chocolate mousse torte for dessert.
