Here’s my big list of things I want to accomplish in 2022:
Remodel The Kitchen
The electrician is planning on coming out this week to see what needs to be done so that’s a step in the right direction. Now the hard part; making sure we get all the outlets and plugs in the right spots {we’re having quite a few of them moved} and remember to do all the stuff we want done in the other rooms.
Sell Enough Rugs to Buy an AGA Stove {$21,833.70 of $22,000 earned so far}
I didn’t sell any of my *new* finished pieces this past week {new pieces are marked with *** at the end of the listing} but I am planning on listing a few more pieces in my Etsy shop this coming Saturday {July 23rd} at 6pm so I hope that pushes me over the edge.
Fill the Canning Cupboard
This week I added raspberry blueberry jam and carrot cake jam to the canning cupboard. The top shelf was getting pretty weighed down though and so I had to move the jars of soup to the second level.
So far this year I have canned:
- Raspberry Blueberry Jam
- Carrot Cake Jam
- Strawberry Lemon Jam
- Blueberry Lime Jam
- Strawberry Jam
- Cinnamon Rhubarb Jam
- Pickled Asparagus
- Ginger Pear Jam
- Spiced Christmas Jam
- Cranberry Sauce
- Split Pea and Ham Soup
- Beef Stew
Not canned, but in jars:
Earn Enough Money Selling {?????} To Pay For Our 2022 Grocery Tab By The End Of The Year.
I think I’ll just have to wait until things calm down before I list my beach finds.
Eat More Fruits and Vegetables.
This past week we’ve been eating fresh shelling peas from the garden.
Keep The Crafts… In The Craft Room.
With the exception of needing the table for about 30 minutes to stack and fold wool, it was another successful week keeping my craft projects out of the dining room.
Tap Our 2 Maple Trees and Make Maple Syrup {DONE}
It was a good experience, and we’re going to do it again next year {although I would like to find a few more trees to tap so our yield is a bit higher}.
Make a Quilt Top
I need help! If I want to make a quilt that is 90″ x 90″ and my quilt squares are 2 1/2″ how many quilt squares will I need to cut out? Are there any quilters out there? Does anyone know?
Be More Intentional With My Time
Sweet Lucy. She loves being on the water.
1 Craft / Blog Free Day {I’ve had 26 craft/blog free days this year so far.}
Turning off the computer for the day is much easier to do in the summer than the winter, that’s for sure.
Keep My Husband Busy
It wasn’t on the list, but the HH bought a new mailbox and built a stand for it. And he even painted it white! Which got me thinking… maybe I should have him finish painting outside of the house. I think he’d be great at it, don’t you?
