As you walk into the snazzy, stunning restaurant, right at the entrance is a glass wine cellar, home to some of the finest selection of wines, that totally sets the mood right visually for a memorable gastronomic experience at The Colobus Grill.
As you settle into your seat on the leather seat booths, you will notice that the restaurant features an open grill kitchen with a live station, where you get to watch the talented chefs prepare gourmet meals, as you enjoy the aroma from the flames and taste the bold, smoky flavors of the perfectly cooked dishes infused with locally sourced ingredients. The sounds, the smells, and the sights of cooking really helps you work up an appetite.






At a recent event to celebrate its reopening, The Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari club hosted invited guests to a 3-course dinner one evening. The restaurant and by extension the hotel had halted operations to refurbish and create a completely new experience of the property and its surroundings for guests. Chef Aris and his team laid out their finest for the invited guests who totally enjoyed the evening.

Launched in 2019, and renovated from the former private members’ room, their vision was to restore the essence of fine dining glamour paired with an exceptional culinary experience in Nanyuki. It’s important to note the menu largely consists of Fresh made vegetables and ingredients from the hotel’s farm and local surrounding and nature with Aromatic herbs from the herb garden and organic vegetables from that provide Gourmet taste and flavors.
